 Some Say the GFC has signs of ending, I ask what signs?
I say, you and I should take matters into our own hands to ensure there is a happy ending to what has become one of the most long running soul destroying crisises in Newcastle,  Your reading this thinking what is Commuter on about shouldn't he have said the World, but I say your wrong as there is something going on in Newcastle that has been going on far longer then any monetry problems and it needs to highlighted which hopefully will bring to an end.
 Your help is need and will be appreciated, how can you help .....................

 I say soft roll to line, ride the brakes, pull out a lap Short, do anything as the Glendenning Form Crisis needs to finish

I mistakenly thought he'd finished with the bunch.

Pretty ordinary race tactics by C grade.  Pace was high but nice and constant.  Even old D graders who haven't ridden for a month could keep up.

Hill Jockey speaks the truth, but it was not fast IMHO. I dropped off the back going up the bridge on the second lap with cramps, and there was a gap of I guess 300m. Stopped the cramps then put it the 11 to chase, and cruised up to get back on - and this was during periods when people seemed to be chasing as they were standing up.  Not saying this to portray my effort to get back on as some kind of superhuman effort but it was a reflection of what seemed to me to be a slow race.

I know its been longer than a season because keeping tabs on form slumps is something I started taking note of when mine started - about a couple of decades ago.

But he is a C grader. What difference will he make? If you got some smart C graders there he would be a D grader. It is a cornering curse thrust on all people from Gloucester, as there are no corners there. The Lewis clan can't corner. Shalom

You are more generous than your club's handicapper, who slotted young Pete in D grade, and didn't his coach find that handicapping decision upsetting! Interesting Pete was not the dominant force his coach had predicted.  Had the younger of the two Hillbillies not clipped a pedal on the final corner, and nearly fallen but stuffing up those winding up behind them, it may have been a closer finish. 

Pete looks good on the track, but he seems to be pushing a monster gear on the road.

I was so disappointed with my finish. I felt like such a bunter and you were right, Metro i was there to give Pete a run for his money and i thought that if i had enough speed around the corner it may have been enough to just hold him.

I also noticed the massive gear he was riding and thought that was a tad strange.

You did well to stay upright!  I am just glad I had laid off a bit further than I should have.  Gave me a good excuse to stop trying to sprint.

I would have thought a few of you guys who sat on your father and I for 2.9 laps might have attacked when Pete seemed a little hemmed in behind me.

I hope Pete is not pushing gears to big for his age - the gearing restrictions exist for good reason.
