Got your HD hat on now Metro?

See you have a kit for nearly each club, get a vets one too and cover them all.  Get a WAMM outift while you're at it, give the Ferret something  to bang on about.

Have to change your name to Metro Chameleon.

Metro,

No son, no involvement in new kit

HJ,

If my mail is correct, Metro has been seen out in a Cessnock kit. Furthermore, I understand he may have "snowdropped" it off Clydey's clothesline. Note to Metro; people will put two and two together soon son. If Clydey finds out.......you will never get a good mark at Cessnock. Shalom

You may have noticed the Ferret has returned,...

And he (?) has been quite active lately on this forum.

Out here in the coalfields, home-made signs have been appearing in local front yards,
alluding to the current ready availability of ferrets!

Must be ferret season.

Metro,

If Clydey finds out.......you will never get a good mark at Cessnock

I don't get a good mark at the velodrome, where I do race when I can!  Putting me off 10m when Seldo is off 50m!  I know I look good in lycra, am a Rugby international and rowed for Kings,  but I am not that good. Any-who...

I fear Clyde might have read all those "selected placings" HDCC seems to publish, and I suspect I would get a mark somewhere behind Fabian.
Well, no merger so far....

Metor,

did I call out 10 metres? Gee, sorry about that.

Keep your eyes on the sign on sheet next Wednesday. There have been quite a few changes, not only to people's marks but also grades.

Robbo et al,

It seems Metro's good club (KOCC) has two sets of rules. Noted by several people on Australia day racing at KOCC was the delaying tactics for one psuedo sponsor of the club, as his plane was late from Melbourne due to fog. I am then reliably informed (thank you C grader XY123 (code)) that this same person, having arrived late and missed the A grade start, proceeded to ride down the finish straight the wrong way until he met A grade. This same rider has been disqualified by KOCC for taking pace from vehicles in races at the Gang. It would seem some have a short memory!! What The Ferret then saw with his own eyes, defied any law I have read. This individual proceeded to swap off turns and engage in the race, something you cannot do if you do not go the distance. That is..........unless you are a psuedo sponsor of KOCC!!

So, next time KOCC publish a 9am start on a public holiday, or a 2.30pm start on a Saturday, just remember, that if a club sponsor suggests they may be late, you won't be starting at the advertised time. If this happened at HD, that punter would be invited to help take places at the finish line. They would get a lesson in the bargain. Shalom

I am also guilty of start time alterations. At the the Rock n Racing night we were supposed to start at 7, but as the band took longer to set up we started just after 7.30. The band was a sponsor on the night, ooh the similarities..

Robbo,

I can understand that son, being a commercial decision. If my mail is correct (and we all know the answer to that) the night was a screaming success, heightened by the fact that half of the crowd were KOCC cronies trying to stem the flow of KOCC defectors to HD. But it is a different arrangement when a commercial sponsor is also a competitor and start times/rules/morals are altered to cater for this individual. Shame KOCC shame.

Metro,

I have previously raced with a beard son, and liked the Human Headline. Further to the controversy posted above.........how did said psuedo sponsor sign on prior to the race? Ian Chapman was heard to seek that of each rider in each grade. I guess you can't answer that you haven't signed on if you're not there. Shalom

Maybe sooner rather than later....

looks like ferret season again.

I saw one of those "ferrets for sale" signs in Mt View Road yesterday.
