Point 1 - MC. HDCC has not poached any juniors from KOCC, I am in control of that and I have just given information to those who have asked me what we are doing and what we can offer. They have made their decisions based on that without any coersion from the club or its members. This can be confirmed with those who have made the move, they will be happy to discuss it with you.

Did I say that?  I accept what you say, but there is some friendly lobbying of older KOCC members to swap to HDCC, and nothing wrong with that.

Well, no merger so far....

Metro/Robbo,

If my mail is correct, one K. Hughes from HD has just gone over to KC. Most would put this down to his allegiance to Team Lethal, but from memory, here is another kid who hit the club up for money to go to a Junior Tour in Tassie and a training camp somewhere up north. Great investment!! Poach hard Robbo. It's just that now the glove is on the other hand the KOCC boys don't believe in poaching. At the end of the day, The Ferret would rather have a good club of loyal men around him than some so so riders who think they are good. Buy yourselves a mirror Team Narcissist, and move on. Shalom.

Your loyal friend

From what I have heard on the grape vine over time Kyle has been threatening to go to KOCC for about 3 years. He has never spoken to me about what he has wanted or why he has threatened to go. Not sure if he has spoken directly to any other HDCC committee member either.

Should any rider of HDCC or any other club be disgruntled or otherwise upset with their club, talk to the committee members, you could save yourself some transfer money and could possibly get a better outcome than you were after in the first place.

Robbo,

Or, if you have no results and **** form, just leave. Don't waste anyone's time asking them anything so stupid. I remember guys like the Perry's and Snake in The Grass, they let their pedals do the talking. These guys want recognition before they do anything, yet have shown nothing dynamic thus far. He is also a **** communicator from what you detail Robbo. KOCC can have him.........

Look at the loyalty he displayed to Box. He has the slowest Lethal bike in Newy. Good riddance.

Your friend who has no trouble communicating

DW,

The truth hurts son. It is not my problem if I am the deliverer of such information.

Your friend in perspicacity

PS. DW......
Perspicacity (or perspicaciousness) is a penetrating discernment - a clarity of vision or intellect which provides a deep understanding and insight.[1]

Being perspicacious about other people, rather than having false illusions, is a sign of good mental health.[2]

Shalom indeed. You have picked me in one son

Robbo,

I take any comparative to this word as a compliment son, gauging by the definition as I detailed same.

DW,

Why have bounds when you are genuine, honest and there to help others improve? Shalom

So, you had to look up the big word in a dictionary?

Metro,

Yes, my dictionary was required son.

On another matter concerning clubs, if my mail is correct (and we all know the answer to that) I understand HVV is to merge with the NCM (Newcastle Cycleways Movement). The Articles of Association for the new merged club will mean that all male veteran riders will have to grow a long flowy beard (it will be grey/white because of their age). I have it on good authority that guys like Don McWha, Brian Atkins, Turtle, Skillo and Heavy Kevvy are all considering gigs as Santa Claus come Christmas, subject to the relevant police checks!! Imagine if you are in one of the lower grades (anything less than A grade is lower), you won't be able to tell them apart with their flowy beards.

Note to Team Windsock: the flowy beard may act as a wind gauge. Dr Brad might let his whiskers go a bit. Shalom

So i managed another victory in D grade tonight - but the young blokes made me work hard for it this time. Question - how many times can you win before you have to go up to the next grade - and is this club specific? - ie - if i go up in HD do i automatically go up in Kooragang as well

Giantcfr1, 7 points will get you upgraded so 1 more placing will see you up.  Points are 3,2,1.
Only applies to HD Friday nights.
Cheers

Gradings are like Australian Cricket Team Selections.
Hunter Districts however has a very good website that explains their system. Matt Taylor well done.

I went up to B grade in HVVV & HDCC after I bought a new & better bike. They must of thought I was serious. I think I might go back to the old one.
