2011 cycling membership
« on: November 14, 2010, 12:54:15 pm »
Hi, does anyone have their 2011 racing license yet? If so, how much did it cost (Elite men). I am technically in masters, but i heard that you cannot race state championships in the Elite men's with a master's license.

It is $270 for a Elite license, and $210 for a Masters (30 - 64) See the KOCC website for more info

And yes a Elite license is what you require if you want to compete in Elite events.

However the Elite Sprint events are on the 28th of this month and the entries closed on Sunday with no late entries allowed, so if you were planning to do those this year you have missed them, the masters events are on the 12th of March so this year you might be better off starting with the Masters then move to Elite next year.

yeah thanks, I wasn't sure if the 2011 memberships were more than the 2010 memberships. Track is out for me this year as i am trying to focus on beating the chronic fatigue and easing back into racing. I'll start Friday nights at the Gang early next year and work from there. If i can get a hold of a track bike i might try the masters just for a bit of fun, but once i beat this fatigue i'm getting serious about track.
