BTW, Craig Chapman has said he will keep the challenge open while ever there are riders turning up and having a go at the time. Keep em coming!!!!!

Wrong thread M.C.

Try the Commuter "Bromance" section, if you are in need of a Mills and boon buzz!  ;)

I am merely doing my part to keep up the morale of the Newy cycling fraternity's sagacious elite.

Yours in edification,

Spandy

All you are doing, Spandy, is making sure Robbo is unwilling to turn up in lycra lest his excitment be all too apparent.

but Metro, Spandy has already said that she looks nothing like the avatar in real life. So do I assume that I wouldnt have reason for excitement whilst out and about?

Dear Robbo et al,

It is a good thing that you do not know my identity...(cough).
I believe that it is not safe for gentlemen of your age to be over-excited.

I would hate to be responsible for any adverse events. :D

Spandy.

Robbo,  true, but at our ages often a good imagination is very helpful.

As of  the  way of Newcastle cycling forums users tend have mutliple identities .................. what would be funny and quite embarassing for our besotted Gollum if Metro was Spandy

Its just a thought............... but whatever helps, hey Gollum

Was a good night of racing with great support from a very loud and large crowd, for once there was something louder than young Peter Lewis :P

I know one thing I won't be attempting a wheelrace using a 98 inch gear 3 mins after doing a flying 1 km time trial behind the motor bike, it took me 5 mins before I could stand up after that, I was even struggling to hold my hands up to change the gear back to a more respectable 90.64 inches.
No longer a Hubbard or a Commuter, just a very naughty boy.
