I should add to my earlier post - it was suggested I was moving to B grade :-\

Seems no more silly riding off the front for me now ;)

Well, no merger so far....

Masso,

I have ridden in B grade races - the odd HDCC Crit, much to the disappointment of Mick C, and the KOCC B grade Teams  Challenge, which "we" won.  But I think it has been over a year since I was in B grade.

That said, I think Track B grade will be easier to cope with than Road B grade.  You see, the races are much much shorter and I am not as fit as I used to be.

The only upside is that I am likely to be fitter than Commando, but then there are people in nursing homes with better fitness than Commando.  Let us see if he can overcome his feeble fitness, fragile back and having to pass by at least one Maccas to make it to the track.

In fact, with the same lack of respect and scant understanding of what I am doing as I did when I challenged one C Chapman to a race on the track - a challenge I laid down but have not had the courage to follow through on - I challenge he of largesse arse to a race on the track - his choice of event.

When do the tickets for this event go on sale?
It sounds like a show not to be missed.

What is the deal with men and having a big arse?? :o

Surely Commando's backside could not be bigger than that Commuter
fellow that you often refer to?

Is having some "junk-in-the-trunk" an indicator of power output or something?

No tickets will be required, but those wishing to attend might be asked to stop breathing during the event so Commando and Snake are able to access all the oxygen that their flacid lungs can get hold of.

It is about power from the glutes.  It is why Commando is the power king of Newcastle - he has the largest arse of anyone.

Surely Commando's backside could not be bigger than that Commuter
fellow that you often refer to?

As unlikely as that would seem, given the huge size of the pie-eater's rump, the answer is yes.  Commando has a huge one - butt.

Yes.  Commando was the winner of the peak power challenge some time ago.  Another person with a large butt - let us call him a handsome man who rides in C grade and weighs 107 kg and rides an Argon road bike - was the torque king in that same comp.  So size of rump does indicate high peak outputs.  The relationship to winning races is not quite as clear...

Thanks gentlemen. Your wisdom is appreciated.

It's a shame that the "large-arse power principle" does not work quite as well on the fairer sex.

You guys get the muscle mass, we get the body fat... ???

Looking forward to the upcoming "gluteal track challenge".
