Sounds like a storm in a teacup, and professional cycling's image is so far the only casualty.

It would be disappointing to have one of cycling's greatest stars disappear from the sport for something that, at this stage, is so trivial.

Open letter to Alberto,

Maaaate, I am sorry you have been set up! Some person unknown has obviously laced your Spanish beef meat pie with a banned substance.  Here we call it the "tall poppy syndrome", but this has NOTHING to do with Tomke.

You should get a food tester. When I became a champion cyclist I engaged the services of Commuter, as he is very careful and will sample almost every piece of my meals unless I get in quick and stop him.

Don't let those envious of our talent get you down
