Congratulations to Sherrie for another well-organized and successful Womens' Race yesterday.  This event keeps on getting bigger and better every year due to Sherrie's hard work and assistance from her helpers.
Sherrie even managed to organize good weather for the morning.

Unfortunately, yours truly didn't break my zero success in women's handicap racing (road or track).  It is disappointing when you think you have gotten faster/stronger but to no avail. And then I came FOURTH in the F grade race. (so near but so far from the $$$$).
I think I have even less chance of scoring in a women's handicap than Cadel has of winning le Tour.  And this morning, I am still so spent, I feel like I rode in le Tour yesterday.

Thank God for Sherrie's raffle prizes.  I won some Petersons' Champagne House bubbly to drown my sorrows. I appreciated all the well-wishers yesterday who encouraged me to check my raffle tickets, which I didn't have time or energy for until after my second race.  ( I was one of the last to finish the HCP).
A slice of Sherrie's banana bread kept my energy stores up for the grade race.
And thanks to the faster ladies who encouraged me to jump on (for as long as I could) as they passed me.  Three laps  is a long way (mostly) on your own, especially when you are a F grader  (that is our standard race distance) and are not catching up to anyone ahead.

Great work,Sherrie.
