A message for Cadel

I am sure we all watched Cadel last night, saw the obvious signs of a major bonk, and the slide off the back. We saw his distress, and knew the armchair experts would be ready to sledge him before he finished the stage.
Cadel, we know how hard it is to train, to watch every morsel you eat carefully - to live for that one event. We know what it is like to bonk, and have to grovel to thee finish hoping you get there before the sun goes down.
If I can give you some hope, something positive, it is this - I hope your mates are not as big a bunch of sm@rt@rses as Commuter, Chai Lord and Ferret, 'cause those bastards bagged the hell out of me due to that mutha clucking Gunnedah race.

Hey MC,
Cadel's weight is currently listed at 64kg. How does this compare with yours?
Cheers,

Last time I checked, 109 kg. It is hard to see the display on the scales past my gut, and some toher bits and pieces that get in the way.
Cadel needs to eat a bit more, IMHO. I am not the reigning Central Division D Grade (yes, D grade!) Road Champion for nuthin' you know. Thank Christ, Buddha,

Cadel,
I have observed your bravery in continuing on in this year's TdF, despite being further off the back than Commuter at a salad bar. I have seen your pain.
I felt you might be enlightened and encouraged by further tales about myself. Just like you I have been there, so far of the back that I am in another time zone to the winners. In facts if add up the total distance I have travelled off the back of club level races I may well have been off the back for a greater distance that the total length of this year's Tour.
So, from the current Central Division (NSW) D grade road champion to you, the current world road champion, keep pedalling - you will get there.
Mc
BTW if you want any tips for the Worlds in Melbourne later this year feel free to give me a call

MC
I think I could rival you for the amount of times you/I have been dropped in a race, whether it be road, crit or track. You would only exceed my count because you have been racing far longer than I
Cadel
just to reinforce MC's encouraging words, if you decide to dabble in track then the current Womens Masters 6 Sprint Champion would be only too willing to give you some pointers on how to achieve on the track shortly after sustaining injuries in a road accident.
(It helps if the opposition (?) refrains from putting in an appearance.)
!!!!!!
ps: I have only a few months left before I lose my rainbow stripes. I will have to "advertise" on the forum more often until then.

fast Gai,
You'll be seeking The Ferret's advice after you relinquish said jersey.
Metro,
With tips such as your's to Cadel, he was lucky to finish 37th??. Imagine if you accompanied him on the Tour and he had to eat what you consume!!
Your dietetic friend
