I was unsure about if I was going as my fitness was questionable due to the crash and subsequent head cold / sinus infection, but after finishing last in the crit on Sat I might manage to complete the G2T so put me down for a seat on the bus please.

Why not put the bikes in a trailer? We borrowed one and took it to Adelaide with 8 bikes in it and had room for heaps more. we used less than half the space available and didnt have to take any wheels off etc. We just wrapped them all in blankets etc to protect them from any rubbing etc and we had absolutely no damage whatsoever on any of them.

It is an lockable enclosed one with tie down anchor points etc and towed great. Boostie can see if it can be used if you are interested Dot Boy ol fella.

may have to check with the bus company that the bus has a tow bar, but it made life so easy having that trailer with us.

There will be trailer with the bus , I was looking at putting luggage in that and the bikes under the bus, in previous years room has been a premium so I already had been thinking of a trailer

RKR - the price for the bus and a place in a shared room is $140, but if more attend it might be less.

RKR,  not 100% sure, but most of the rooms are share rooms, as you can not spend to much time with lycra wearing buddies.  I, however,  have a non-share room, because it is not fair to subject others to my somewhat unusual and ineffective pre-race "system".

Can someone please fill me in on the route the race takes from Gunnedah??

Um, straight down the highway to Tamworth I imagine.

Disclaimer:  Have never done this or seen the race route but AFAIK there is only one way there.

It goes back toward Quirindi, then hangs a left past Werris Creek and heads on in to Golden Guitar Country.
