I swear i read somewhere in the owners manual i got with my bike that if i ride it in the rain it will desolve. It could handle the odd accidential rain fall (ie it was sunny when i left home).

Sooner or later I will have to toughen up, head out to Minmi, and do my "get ready for summer" B-grade apprenticeship (ie. purchase my 3 DNF's for $30).

Looks like we will be putting the rain riding tips into practice today.
Make sure you bring some warm gear to put on after the race for the ride home.

Then again we may not.
The Bill Ebling Handicap scheduled for 2pm today has been cancelled, due to the weather. Please pass this message on to people who might have intended to race

A rear mudguard mountd on seatpost. If it's really bad a plain pvc jacket. If you have the $ a better jacket gore etc.
If i head out into rain, the mudguard is on.

Haddo,
I reckon Singlespeeder's gears would stuff up in the rain. Shalom
