Did you watch it Haddo?  How good was that finish!  Peleton blew it.

Another good stage for Aus last night.  Didn't stay up to watch this time but should be worth watching the highlights (unless you are Bill Cox and you've watched or recorded the lot...)

Sorry Metro, sitting up until 1.30 it didn't occur to me to press record.  I might have to be less selfish. ;D

Cool.  I was up working until then but no Fox.  No fox is good for my kids but not for me!

I agree Metro,

we had fox but only saw the back of junior's head as he was stuck in front of it.

Since it has been removed he is training better and doing his school work.

Awesome two days of riding by the two Aussies, Matt Lloyd wins in a long break away and the following stage Cadel Evans displays great tactics and awesome strength riding the sitters off his wheel in the final sprint after working hard on the mud and dirt to make time.

Vino in first and Cadel in second just over a minute behind is the perfect spot to be for him.

PieBoy

Hope you are watching all this cycling mayhem while doing training on your windtrainer - ITT this weekend.  Hate to see you lose the lead in the KOCC C grade champs to Messrs Brown or Tolfree because you have been sitting on the bean bag eating vanilla clices...cough cough.

The M "Will have gears this weekend after 4 weeks on a fixie/SS and so might do alright in the ITT and has not been sitting on the bean bag eating Vanilla Slices" C

Giro adopts pattern.  An Aussie wins and Sastre loses time...

It looked like Evans and Vino were going to duke it out for line honours, but just before the line the sprinters blew past at an impressive rate of knots (Masso style).

What makes for a better finish - a finish for the climbers or a sprinter's finish? For me it is the sprint

HJ,

You missed a Masso finish on Saturday at KOCC. That cat was fast as lightning. In fact it was a little bit frightning.
But he finished with expert timing.

DW,

The number of people that can beat Masso in a sprint, when he has his game head on, you can count on one hand of a very very reckless butcher who is incapable of ten pin bowling..
