You dont need fast women or beer to help you all you need is a sweet ride like my new bike and you'll have every chance in the world of taking out the SS title. Its all about the basket...  :D

Well that was an awesome day. Six Newcastle riders, vocal and supportive.

Great to see Ji at the pointy end of things - 11.55 flying 200.

As predicted, I was humbled by riders at both ends of the age spectrum (all female might I add). I had a great time nonetheless. Learned lots, which is important.

Lesson - go-fast wheels still need to be pedalled by go-fast legs. Back to the drawing board for me!

So if I filled the basket with beer and put a fast woman on that bike it could have been the winning combo eh ;)

Well, no merger so far....
