Mmmmmm, so deep fried Iced Vovo sandwiches (well a packet of Iced Vovo's actually) are not unhealthy?

I can at least have a packet on hand for you to entertain the crowd with your speed of consumption Metro. Want some?

Robbo

Maybe you should replace iced Vovo's with Ginger nuts. that may slow consumption down to an aceptable level.

Well poeple its a beautiful dayso there should be lots of you there tonight.

Stefan Chapman will again be in charge and will need a hand as I will be watching my daughter at Star Struck (yeah I know her mother must have passed down all the talent), so Stefan will need some assistance.

I will be dropping in lots of nice fresh snags for the BBQ so turn up and eat up.

There is also a face book page called Newcastle Velo now so join up folks.

Sorry - was required for kid watching duties and neither were at all keen to come and watch me ride, which some may say is unreasonable of my children as they have denied Stefan and others the chance to see power and grace on a bike once again...cough cough.

cough cough indeed.

we need to know numbers for this Friday night as there is a fair contingent of Friday night participants heading to the DGV for RAW.

please let us know what intentions there are so we can see if it is worthwhile getting Rossco down to the velo for training.

I will not be there this Tuesday or Friday - have the kids to feed and watch on Tuesday, and if I go on Friday night immediately before being away all weekend at Gunnedah I will probably get the chance to ride as much as I want thereafter, if you get my drift.

I will be staying North on Friday nights this year.
I am too slow for Division 5 which is for those too slow or too young ( I am definitely not the latter)

Last year the starts were generally  too crowded and the racing too fast and furious for me.  Someone else can have the honour(?) of being the oldest female RAW trackster.

If I go to RAW, I end up getting less than 4 hours sleep before I have to set up the shop/deliveries.

In my case it is better to be chasing the motorbike than spending all those extra hours going down to Sydney.
Less travel, less money, less time.

In the Newcastle Herald today, the fixtures section says that track training at the velodrome is on Tuesdays and Fridays.

So, this week at least, training will have to go ahead (weather permitting) on Friday?   !!!!!

so there are people travelling to Gunnedah and others travelling to RAW.

For all those left there will still be quality training at the Newcsatle velo tonight. Coach Rossco will be there as will the motorbike for any motopacing requirements.

Good luck to all riders travelling for races this weekend Particluarly those burglars benefitting from the dodgy grades for the G2T. Is there a Tote in operation on the bus? There could be some big money being laid on the first to get dropped in each grade.

Robbo,

Yes, some of the grading is odd.  Poor Kim Seldon was put in C grade as was Commuter, but Olaf is in E grade.  I would have thought Commuter and Seldo might be betetr graded in D and Olaf in C, on current form.  Oh well, we might induct Olaf to see if he can solo away from the start and win, so there- he probably can.

The grading for the day beofre also has its quirks - Loveboat is in the same grade as Witho, and as much as I respect Loveboat he is no match for Witho.

Handicapping - very hard to get right.
