Shouldn't that be 3 scotches and a fillet for JnrJnr and Jnr to drive you home.

If Commuter turns up it could be 3 bullocks and a bottle of scotch!

To borrow and slightly modify a well known movie line 'better get a bigger BBQ'

So, who's up for it tomorrow night? Track training that is.

Dont pass up the opportunity to be trained up by Stefan Chapman in his poofy jacket, and be fed wonderful offerings of nuked charcoal on a slice of bread from the BBQ.

What excuse have you this week Metro?
Masso - you can do it. Last more than 2 laps that is.
Pretend Stig - can you handle wearing the proper Stig helmet on the velo?
TTK - lju hjbjhbj bjjk
Commando - Drunken Kidd reckons he is turning up. Can you bring an extensive repair kit. he will need it.
Commuter - do you have tyres resilient enough to handle you riding them on the velo?
Kyle - you can still ride cant you?
Max - riding with the girls aye. I'm sure we will have some more for you to race against.

Proudly hairy-legged

PHL,

Robbo demonstrates, yet again, the difference between quality and quantity...

Robbo,

Work permitting, I will be at the velodrome.  I have new Gatorskins on the track bike, so will not be doing any slow stuff up the bank, for gravity is a cruel mistress when you weigh 108 kg (yes, that is right, it is coming back down...).

Just quickly as well, there is a one off session tonight at 6.30pm. Maximum will be about 5 or 6 people.

Motopace only, so not for people who cant ride behind the motorbike at 55kph. For those that can it will be excellent for your road legs as well.

it is an extension of the Saturday morning sessions for those in the know.

let me know if you can make it so we can accomodate you.

I can sit on 55 kph - the question is "how long can you sit on 55 kph?"  Might be tempted, in palce of Friday night.  Robbo, you'v seen me ride - can I do it or not?

Of course you can Metro. Why do you continually doubt yourself?

Note to all others; be watching when he tries to hold the pace.

Let it be noted that I did turn up to the velodrome last night on my track bike...

and watched the faster of the two Robbos and Masso trying to catch a postie bike.

I will be there tonight, unless The Laughing Bunch rehearsal is called for this evening.  Believe me, it is better for us all to have me attend band rehearsal than track training.

Well bugger me, I didnt think I would run out of tucker tonight. What a hungry bunch!!

I will definitely have sufficient next week. I know that Metro will have a few sanga's next week and lord help the local butcher if Commuter turns up!

Thanks to all those who turned up. 18 riders and hopefully more to come. All seemed to enjoy themselves and got plenty out of it.

See you 18 again next week, and all you skirts that didnt go tonight, have a go will ya!

Good job on the BBQ Robbo. Also a big thanks to Chappy for the training and Col for the motorpacing. I should be there next friday night.

No sausages on sale tonight Metro, so you will have to head home again to slap the sausage after training.

For all others, the usual start time of 6pm for tonight. Craig is looking at a variation in the schedule for tonight so it should again be an interesting and fun evening.

see you all there.
