Marto1971,

Go to the top of the class son. This is what The Ferret does. Chain performs better and lasts longer. Good to see some punter debunk this synthetic lubricant argument. Shalom

Is it true that LARD is really good for this method, and that it attracts commuters to sit on your wheel just to smell the bacon cooking in the hot sun ?

Boostie - just because you are no longer a commuter does not mean you can make fun of me and my non-metro namesake.  But the smell of bacon on a chain might be the incentive the two commuters need to hold a wheel in C grade, and so not get dropped...cough cough

Often wondered why Commuter took so long to type a reply, why he cant wave back to you when he is carrying one bag of shopping, why he cant drive a manual car, or why he cant take notes whilst on the phone etc.

Sick Puppy Dot Boy!

I also wondered why you purchased so many packets of twisties.............

Commuter,

Not as partial as Metro. he had that cream bun dispenser installed on his handlebars. Shalom. That's why C grade always has an angry flock of seagulls pursuing it around Kooragang. Metro's cream buns "rattle" out of the dispenser due to the road surface. I suspect it was him who alerted Cycling NSW officials about the surface because it rendered his cream bun dispenser inoperable. Shalom

Ferret,

Two "shalom" in one post - is that like moreover?

When I was in year 11 we did stage a "sit in" when they removed cream buns from the menu.  Although I do not actually like cream buns I thought it was a worthy cause, because I could see the next items to be removed might be custard pies (something I am still partial to) and chicken patties.  We were successful, and the cream buns returned to the menu of the Malvina High School canteen.

Commuter,

Good news the injury was work related...please tell me it was not burnt in some hi jinks in the showers at the end of a long night shift...

Why is it that most threads about cycling all end up talking about food, I guess I am to blame for this one.
