Saw you running around yesterday out there. The cycle leg looked dangerous, im sure i would have crashed if i was out there. So many bunters riding around there.

Apparently there was a bad get off in the olympic distance event with an Ambulance being called. I did the diehards one and found it fine, noone really got in my way at all.

You can add my name to the cant run list and Doyle to the can run.

Bunter city.  So many of them have no concept of keeping left unless passing...

What did you think of the course Haddo?

I thought it was a bit of alright.  Not everyday you get to fang down Nobbys Drive and hook left at the roundabout as fast as you like.  ;D

I liked it. It had a bit of everything in a 24 km timetrial.

I thought the course was great, good inclusion of the King Ed section.

Your right about the bunters! I saw some epic 90 deg detours when people reached for the drink bottle!

Maybe race briefing should include information about which is left as well as drafting! ;D

P.S. thanks for the wrap about running, doesn't feel like it sometimes! :D

Commuter - do not stoop to using Ferret's one liners.  You are much better than that.

I am an absolutely appalling middle and long distance runner, but quite quick up to 200m - perhaps 400m if being chased by a large dog or [INSERT FOOD SLEDGE]  Much more fast twitch than slow twitch, but that is evident from how I ride as well.
Well, no merger so far....

I think the most relevant question should be "Why would a cyclist need/want to run?".

Isn't that the purpose of the bike in the first place? A bike is so much faster, and doesn't hurt anywhere near as much?

I hope I can still run, particularly this Sunday afternoon when I have 42k to cover

Mandatory if they are doing cyclocross.  Crazy huh?
