State gradings
« on: March 16, 2010, 07:43:46 pm »
Gradings on the HD website have been updated.

Brett would appreciate feedback on state gradings sooner rather than later if you think it's not quite right.

Had a look at KC gradings, why is Metro in state F grade?

Hilljockey,

Why do cream buns taste so nice? Why do the Iced Vo Vo's jump from the container to my hand? Ask him about his last result at Gunnedah. Shalom

Possibly because that is where I should be - last two G2T events I was dropped in E grade. Will not drink body mass in beer on sat night this year! Bloody Daracott, Seldo etal - bad influences!
Well, no merger so far....

Metor,

Save your money on the state entries and buy your young bloke a new guitar, or put it toward some pseudoephedrine, and get some results. Shalom

Gentlemen,

Isn't retribution sweet...? Tonight the cycling fraternity witnessed dialogue from a disgruntled man. Whilst The Ferret has never shirked answering questions truthfully, there are a few people who have an inkling as to my identity, and most don't care. I have just checked the state gradings and realise now why I. Lovell tried to out Haldey as The Ferret. The handicapper has put him in state D1. Now, if I were to point out my state grading, it would ultimately single me out and make my identity easy to confirm. Thank you I. Lovell. The mutterings of a man desperate to keep his arse out of state D grade made for an entertaining night and took the heat off me again. Are you sure you aren't appearing in a stage play called Twins with Dave Heaton? That man single-handedly took the heat off me.  Your outing prowess is as keen as your form and your state grade. Keep up the banter though. I think everyone appreciated it.........

Hmmm.

Let me see - iLovell identifies B Hadley (nice place last night, BTW) aka Di2 Boy as being The Ferret.  The Ferret then bags iLovell out for taking the heat off him.  Now, I am not trying to out The Ferret as that would be improper, but those who seek to out him might wonder if iLovell is showing more tactical nous than he has ever shown in any race by taking the heat off himself.  Just saying.

So, those who seek to out the Ferret nmight take that and the following in to account.  iLovell - been around cycling since Commuter was earning extra income at the local newsagent ("I really really want those musk sticks"), races A grade locally, a long term team member of Team Windsock, legendary lover (8 hours in one go!) and a teacher.  Just sayin'....

Waiting for the "Luke Warmwater and his brother Tepid".

Metro,

I think it morally correct that I seek the fifth amendment on this issue. I do not want to maliciously set someone on an incorrect course. You are warmer than Luke Warmwater and his brother Tepid son. Go Team Windsock. Shalom

If my sources are correct, and we all know the answer to that, there will be some dummy spits about some gradings.

Accurate numbers are extremely difficult to get at the moment Haddo.

As of last Tuesday the race was going to be cancelled due to there only being 29 starters covering all grades. Then lo and behold the 2 data input geeks at CNSW decided on the Thursday (4 days after cutoff) to update the entries and the number of starters went to 115.

I think we now have about 125 to 130 plus a couple more who have promised to join in. We may even crack 150 or so if we are lucky, but wont be able to tell until start time.

As someone who didnt enter in time and then went onto the NSW cycling website to see that entries had closed and no late entries would be accepted, is it still possible for someone to enter?? And how?
