Thor,

Go and join HVV and get a skinsuit. Now, that would look good.

Newcastle cycling should be very proud of all the past results. 
......HOWEVER.....Its all relative really, like RH I plan on making all my glories in the Veterans category.

I had thought Rob Hadley had won noteworthy events before he was a Masters/Vet cat racer?  I would think Rob has superior bragging rights than most around these parts, and yet if you asked him who the best racer around these parts would be he'd probably say Col Appleyard, who was left off many people's lists.

In any event, it is interesting that those who have had their major (and by that I exclude club racing) success as juniors seem to be running down those who have had most of their success as Vets.  Aren't Vets and Juniors really, when you get through the ego crapola, just age categories?  Why would being a successful junior be more or less poseworthy or esteemed than a successful vet?

Well, no merger so far....

Oh - thought of one more person left out - Paddy Kilmurray has raced track overseas (he had a college scholarship in the US and I think his college track team won the US Collegiate Track Championships) and he has won various state track events.  One could argue he has had more real overseas racing experience than many others who tout their own overseas experience as being gloatworthy.

If you delve in to the dark dark world of Ironman/TriGeekdom, then you get an even longer list - The Editor was on a National team, as was (I think) was Wayne Swan.  Magic Steve also had some success in those dark arts, as had Turtle, Dr Brad and Mrs Dr Brad.  Nathan Stewart and Stu Adams also have had success in the swim-cycle-run thing.

Then you have B Lambkin, D Mehahy (sp?), G Troup, and D Witherden, who won an elite state medal last weekend, as did iLovell (is there nothing that man can not do) and his fellow Masters cat team.

Oh, and I won the C grade HVVCC Invitational last month, so add me to the list as well ;D  Yep - a Masters Club Race with a depleted field.
Well, no merger so far....

drv31t,

Did you do the 12 hour son, or do you just like to feed off others results? Shalom

You tell me Ferret. You seem to preach about knowing the truth to all info. So do your research. Then you will know the truth. Maybe I did, maybe not.........

drv31t,

I think maybe not. I can sense envy in your posts. You are a chronic under-achiever who feeds off the results of others...........including females. Shalom

drv31t,

I sense from this constant vitriol that you embark upon lends itself to the theory that your mother may have dressed you in your sister's clothes as a child. Am I getting warmer......?? Don't misinterpret that drv31t, I am here to help you.
