I cant quite remember the reason for that particular visit to the chemist, but you are correct in that it wasnt for performance enhancing suppliments as Mrs Robbo assures me there is no need to increase an already impressive performace level for the activity that matters to her.... no further comment required thanks MC.

Full marks to Mr McCrash for keeping his bike upright whilst a semi was shaving the hairs off his arm. He's certainly had plenty of crash practice recently but kept it all together and held is nerve when it mattered most.

The truck was closer to us than any I have ever experienced, in what was clearly a deliberate and malicious action. I still feel sick at the thought of it and it takes me right back to December 2007.

Gutless ar$eholes like the one driving that truck probably torture kittens for sport. Let's hope our policeman friend is enjoying his shift on the F3 tonight and inflicting some pain on those truck driving ar$eholes  .

FFS - I am sick of these truck driving @rseholes! 

I had a truck incident a few weeks ago - coincidently while riding to Ramo with Chris.  The truck swerved towards me.  Hunter Quarries truck, BTW, so if you have a business that buys quarried material and uses Hunter uarries let them know they have a f'wit driving one of their trucks....and that might affect your future purchasing decisions.

Hunter quarries is part owned by the father of Nick Chevalley who also sponsored the Two Wheel Industries team under Hunter Readymixed Concrete. I am also in the Hunter Group of Companies and will discuss it with the OH & S Officer. Do you have some specific details?

As it happens the safety officer is having a meeting with Hunter Quarries truck Drivers on 26.03.10 to discuss interaction with cyclists. This was due to a complaint a driver made to him about an eradic cyclist heading south over Hexham bridge. He will go through The Handbook for Bicycle Riders and Riding in Groups by the RTA to make sure they are aware of what rights cyclists have. He wants to stress the importance of not verbally abusing the cyclist. So if you see a Hunter Quarries or Hunter Readymixed Concrete truck on the road they should be educated in this area.

The big question is what the hell is a cyclist doing riding on the road southbound on Hexham bridge anyway ?

It would be a stupid thing to do as the road surface is not smooth and there is no room there for cyclists on the road but there is a perfectly good path that is protected from the road by a fence on the southbound bridge.
