Bootsie,

the date for the upcoming CD handicap is the same as the Metro/Winter Track Champs at DGV.

can we have more details before Sunday August27?
(this is the closing date for the Metro/Winter Champs with CNSW)

so that we track-minded folk can decide which way to go?

If the hcp is really aimed at the higher grades, please make this clear so that weaker riders won't waste our time if we choose the hcp
instead of indoors track.  I personally would really like to have a go at both.
Unfortunately, this year most of the CD races I could have done were washed out.

(from she who is soon to be WM7.)

The idea of a handicap is that every rider has an equal chance of winning,I dont believe any race is aimed at a particular grade. This is why there has been a request for riders to pre-enter so the handicapper can right and make it fair for each rider. If you look at the results of the handicaps since the course has been shortened; backmarkers winning isn't that common.
