Not sure if this is cycling or not (as in where to post), but, ABC2 has a show tonight, 9:30 to 10:30 with 80 cyclists providing power for a household for a day.
In this TV experiment an unsuspecting UK family live in a specially designed house for a day 'run'by people power - 80 cyclists using adapted bikes cycling constantly to keep them in power - and the family having no idea.
Sort of clashes with the origin...
