Team Director Boostie,

Can you tell me if the Central Coast track is banked?

Only a very slight bank, close to what the straight at Newcastle is.

No - too little training and insufficent skill/track confidence.  Hopefully will enter next year.

Your not too late to enter now Metro and others, just got a email from Crafty.

Quote from: Paul Craft
subject   CCCC open entries extended till this Sunday

Hi guys

This is just a quick and simple note to say that CNSW have extended the closing date for the CCCC open to this Sunday 25th Oct

Kevin Young CEO of CNSW has reasoned that the CCCC track open is the first track open of the season hence the extension.

Current entries are 116 which is a great field but more is better!

Cheers Paul

I checked and it appears that both the CCCC open and the Country champs have had the closing date extended, so get your entries in now.

Boostie,

It IS tempting, but I am really quite underskilled, and hence dangerous, on the track. At this stage I am simply riding around the track, watching from the rear and learning as I simply have no idea.  It is not my lack of fitness that stops me - that is not the limiting factor.

Metro riding a flat track is much like riding a crit with open sweeping corners, you will not be dangerous and you will get some confidence and with your power you could do quite well.

The 1 lap TT would be easy for you, the sprints would be just like the 3 lap blast you had around the crit the other day, and the scratch race is just a tad longer.
