Agreed - good event and much much better than yet another race at KI. Constructive suggested changes:

Have the sign on table outside the course - having it inside the course introduced an unnecessary risk with riders and spectators crossing the course while races were being held.
Have the finish a little further to the west, so riders who have crossed the line can slow down after the sprint and easily turn left and then complete a warm down lap - it was (as a rider) kind of dumb and dangerous to have riders who had just sprinted rolling down through traffic cones and people
Make spectators and riders stand on the outside of the course - they get just as good a view from the outside, and it would have removed the tension with a tenant who was, rightly, concerned with riders parking their bikes in his garden. It would also have stopped a usually well respected cycling elder - cycling royalty I am told - from yelling at riders who had no idea why he was yelling at them.
