Today was a most satifsying result. There had been breaks throughout the race but nothing lasting very long. It was quite windy.
On the last lap I saw Spokey go just before the bridge and I thought the chances of staying away with a triathlete were good. I had checked his Maitland triathlon January race time this week and knew he had the form. (Hilljockey you would be under 1hr if you botherd training.)
So I sprinted up the ramp and found it was just Spokey & I. We road together for the rest of the race and had a healthy gap. That gap closed a lot over the last 1km but we managed to finish just before the pack. 

Thanks for the wrap DW. I enjoyed riding with you today too. You were strong and proved your not only a sprinter. Well done, won't be long and your back in B grade
