well done Hillbilly, that link is one that all of us should click on and read.

A list of casulaties with one person on it would be one too many. Unfortunately our list is way longer than that. I agree with what Graham's brother has posted in one of his posts that we should be doing something if we arent happy with this situation. Changing the attitude of motorists towards cyclists seems like it is going to take time, but it will take a lot longer if we dont make a lot of noise - constantly. If we get to them when they are learning we may just get there quicker, who knows - just thoughts.

To join this ride would be a good thing, so if information about it could be put up here they will have a better chance of it being a success.

My 16 year old son is out on a training ride as I type this, and I would be lot more comfortable about it if I knew that Newcsatle's motorists were mindful about taking care while they are driving near him.

Lets maintain the rage people!!
