frequent driver points would be a great idea. I would sign up for that!

Another full on weekend for the juniors at the country titles. Jarret and Oenone took their squad down there in a (very full) bus, plus there were the usual other travellers there. Reece and also Mel brought home bronze medals and the others are all showing great signs of the improvement that they are striving for. The biggest improver over the weekend was Shayne Ilgen who was a real protagonist by the last race yesterday arvo. My thoughts on Shane are 'watch this space' he is going really well.

the Waratah Park facility just shows how much we need something like that in Newcastle. The number of under 9, 11, 13 and 15 riders from the other clubs is very impressive. The kids absolutely love that type of circuit and the parents are more than happy for these tiny little people to try the sport in such a safe environment. Bring on the crit circuit at the velo I say!

now for Tuesday night training where a real sprint can be developed. You dont need to own your own track bike folks, we have plenty there for you to borrow. Hope to see plenty of you there.
