We were there Robbo.  It was cold, breezy and almost wet.  Des Hart you are not!

There was an incident too.  Newby stuff, slow speed, no one really hurt.  Everyone went home with most of their skin, most of their pride, and, a little bit more experience.

Reminder:  If feeling tired in a paceline do not slow and swing up in the one action.  The correct procedure is to hold your line and when it's safe, drop to the infield, everyone will go around.  If you really feel the need to swing up it needs to be done with suitable acceleration so that no one is going to be above you.

Another tip:  Pay attention to the rider in front so if they do swing up you go up too, rather than running into people, or, falling over as you try sudden evasive actions.
