Metro, I struggle to see too much wrong with the people you describe,

"the same people, week in, week out, who only come through in the sprint and then stuff that up as well"

Firstly they dont rip your legs off and make you suffer too much, and then they fail to take the prize money off you at the end as well. Seems like a win win situation for you.
