And another: "Go Steve" turns up to the TAB to place a bet.  The deadline for placing bets on the particular race he wants to punt on closes in 5 minutes.  He can't find a form, then can't find a pencil, then after running around the TAB asking everyone for a pencil he starts filling in the form and the pencil breaks, so he runs around looking for a pencil sharpener.  Magic Steve happens to find a pencil sharpener for him, and after sharpening his lead he completes the form and lodges the bet 3.6 nanoseconds to go.  With that bet he wins the Trifecta...
