Back to the issue...

I have looked at the gradingsfor the Kermesse.  I am not graded, because I have not entered, but know I have been given a State F grade.

No disrespect to those who are in F grade for the Kermesse, but I think that would be the wrong grade for me and it also frightens me - imagine if I do not do well - there is no G grade!

The test I apply is to look where the people I normally race against are graded, because I assume that more people will be graded in the correct spot than not.  Those people are spread throughout D and E grade, with the stronger ones in D grade, and there are a couple in C grade.

So my (trying to be objective and not whine about grading) view would be if I race (and even now I do not know if I can, and even if I can whether I want to spend $55 to enter despite my desire to support the good folks from the Velo Trust  - $55 buys 55 custard pies from Darbys) I should be graded in D or E grade, and to be honest I would not be too worried which one it was.

FWIW, Kerry probably should (IMHO) be moved up to E grade (she is a solid rider most weeks in C grade vets).
Well, no merger so far....
