What I was referring to is fines imposed by a Commissaire under CNSW Rules.  That is seperate to a traffic offence under the Road Rules 2008.

I recall a year or two ago riders in the G2T who were observed crossing the double line coped a Penalty Infringement Notice from the Police AND a fine from the Commissaire.
