« on: January 05, 2012, 07:29:06 pm »
So if there is nothing else happening in newie to chat about ,what about racing... who is kicking your arse. Its not Carsten chapman in D grade cause his now gone to C grade.I see Scott Lindsay  is back and man I don t know who it is who has been riding away from C ,but I probably should know.
And on the other hand is there some one just scamming it(now metro I m not talking about you,not long ago you were  in d grade )but who s out there and could easily place in the next grade.
    has anyone a reply
. p.s  my husband kicks my arse and were in the same grade!!

« on: January 05, 2012, 07:01:46 pm »
marto ,its me again ...As I am over 30(or is that 45)the vets is the club for me but as for what other club  in newie ,that can be a big questionI
f you are an Aor B grade rider you would probably want to join HD as they are very strong in this grade .When it comes to the bottom grades there isn t as many riders (other than friday night racing at the gang ,when riders from all clubs race regularly)sometimes C and D combine such as at the criteriums.
The Kooragang club are a good club for alround riding always a race doesn t matter what grade your in they are very friendly and they also go away to a few race meets as a club (bus trip wise).Who knows maybe one day these two clubs may merge to form a very large and strong newcastle cycling club

If you don t  use it you ll loose it gai, keep up racing and keep trying to stay with the bunches By doing this, you can  be sure you will always be the strongest  that you can  be...underneath it .. thats what counts .Pleasing ourselves, enjoying each others company and being  social, thats what cycling meansto me and many more riders in newie .Its not all about being the best, just being yourself is good.

So we know  Hill jockey  has  arrived   at the tour ,he always knows where to postion himself at racing .... right  behind  the tomarlaris camera crew at the finish of one of cadels best days so far, being the keen spotter I am ..I also noted that he was not in cycling clothes, was this a non  ride stage day for  hilljockey or did he get a lift to the end ??
