I know if you have an Elite license you can race a Masters event (obviously you need to meet the age requirement!) - I asked the same of Cycling Australia and the reply was that.

Cycling Chat & Info / Re: KOCC - stay or transfer to HDCC?
« on: January 03, 2011, 09:04:40 pm »
I think HDCC is the more innovative club as of 2010..... Racing in different venues for me is a big one. The Steel River crits and Black Hill courses are great. I am transferring over from KOCC. I am however, disappointed a merger didn't go ahead - would have been a big step forward IMHO.

I love the crits too - great for intensity/speed. Very different fromthe KI racing, of which there is a glut..........
I would probably prefer a slightly earlier 0800-0830 start, but thats just being picky  :)

Training & Group Rides / Re: which Saturday ride do you do
« on: June 23, 2010, 01:35:36 pm »
The Omega ride goes out from the back of Omega cycles at 0600 on Sat morning. There is often a fair no. of people - 30-40 last time I was there, with a broad level of skill in bunch riding. Includes a lot of triathletes (I think)  - read into that what you will. Friendly bunch, do approx 70 to 100km, depending on the loop. Ian will email you out the course for the week if you sign up on the Omega cycles website.

Regarding the TWI ride - probably a good one to do if you are racing Sat arvo!
